SOUR IPA

All the Marbles // The Donut King is a fruited kettle sour that we mashed with donuts from Knapp's Donuts (Troy, MI), and then pounded it with raspberries, blueberries and strawberries, layered on vanilla and cassia bark.

It’s full of tart fruity flavor and dials in right around 6% ABV.

PAY THAT MAN HIS MONEY

Pay That Man His Money is stunningly creamy despite the sweetness and 11% ABV. A beer this sweet can feel like drinking a glass of chocolate syrup, but that light, creamy mouthfeel allows the chocolate cookie flavor to play up while going down as easy as a row of Oreos.

west coast IPA

When you have some friends visiting Las Vegas, and you live in CA, you make that road trip and visit with them. 'Cuz, hey, it's Vegas. 4h 20m Road Trip is a West Coast IPA that's aggressively hopped with Columbus, Simcoe and Amarillo hops. Light color and body, complex layers of pine, floral and citrus take a nice little trip around you tongue as you make your way through the beer.

Golden Stout

Another addition to the All In Stout Series, we took a little softer route. This American White Stout was brewed with Angel Food's Cake in mind. We added some coffee from Sabbath Coffee Roaster (Clawson, MI) chocolate and vanilla to create and amulate those flavors.

Your eyes will tell you it's not a stout, but your tongue will tell you differently. At 6.6% ABV, it should be an easy drinker.

NEIPA

Our flagship NEIPA that has loaded with citrus and juice.

We use Bergamot hops from Hang Em High Hops in Freesoil, MI is the star of this show. Nicknamed "O.A.F." there is no lack of orange in this hop.

american pale ale

This beer is important to LDB as it's an homage to one of the OGs of the craft beer scene. We've been saying for awhile that we will eventually get to the point of flagship type beers, and this will be one of them. It's a crisp and hoppy, but not going to make you think you're eating a car freshener.

extra special bitter

We dug a little deep in the history lesson for this name. And, we went a little dark. Patrons at the famed pub The Queens Head in Piccadilly would wager on how many rats a dog could maul in a specific timeframe. Man, those were the days.

This is our first Extra Special Bitter (ESB) here at LDB, and it's a delightfully malt forward beer for sure. Dark copper in color and a slight, but present, hop flavor and aroma.

American IPA

In the world of a poker player, a "Mark" is someone at the table that is identified as poor player, or a loose player. Someone that you can win money from, ya know. When you "Walk the Mark" it means you ran him/her from the table. This was the last beer that Mark made, so it seemed fitting to name it after him.

A simple Hazy IPA recipe of Pilsner, Wheat and Oats, with an experimental additive from Hopstiener called "Salvo" and copious amounts of dry hop addition Galaxy, Calista and Manderia Bavaria hops from Hop Alliance, you get a ton of hop flavor and aroma, but none of the bitterness you find. This one isn't going to be around a long time.

american Stout

What's this? A stout under 6% ABV. This is a little bit of a dryer stout, but still hits with a flavorful punch.

A balanced nuttiness, with fig and prunes subtly in there. Very little hop bitterness and a nice roasty finish.

MIlk Stout

We all have “That Aunt” who sends holiday gifts that just not on target. Imma right?

“A Pink Nightmare” is an eggnog inspired sweet stout. Full of our usual roasty stout base, we kicked up the lactose and then added copious amounts of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove.

This will take you back to the days of family gatherings, that and and uncle who share too much, and playing with that favorite gift immediately after opening it. Even if that means going outside in your PJs. Go ahead. Have some fun. Just be careful not to shoot your eye out.

sour ale

They dance. We dance. The latest in the All The Marbles Sour Series features all the flavors that are found in sugar plums

We took are base sour and conditioned it on dried apricots, dried plums, and dried mission figs. Sweet and sour – just being naughty or nice.
